Satire Trumps Serious Issues

A conversation with David Remnick, editor-in-chief of The New Yorker, is now up on Charlie Rose.

I didn’t like the cartoon either (who says you have to like a satire?), but it’s no big deal. I agree with Jon Stewart’s hilarious defense of the cartoon.

For me the bottom line is this: The New Yorker and JibJab satire (funny as they are) got more media
hoopla than the real issues that plunged the U.S. into geopolitical
chaos
.
