I was there and it was awesome! This may have been the largest demonstration in Bellevue history. Two thousand of us, including a large number of suburban residents, lined the street in Bellevue on which Bush's motorcade traveled. We wore colorful costumes, carried imaginative signs and banners, and made a loud noise as we expressed our First Amendment rights.
As the motorcade passed, we yelled and waved signs and expressed our disapproval of his administration. For the first time in years, The Resident and his former brain, the disgraced Rove, were forced outside their protective bubbles. They were exposed to large numbers of people protesting the growing dictatorship. It was historic!
