		<description>I wondered if the Buddha awoke to the first Noble Truth the first time he went outside the palace and came to know of suffering. But perhaps that is just an awareness of the existence of suffering rather than deep awareness of the &#039;Truth of Suffering.&#039; Similarly it is often said that many people come to Buddhism through becoming aware of suffering.
