I’ve been living in Seattle area for a few years now but I haven’t tried the Ride the Ducks tour, until yesterday. And I’m glad I did. Me and ~myWife enjoyed it. Go check out the slideshow of some of my snapshots.
Serendipitously, the driver of the amphibious duck was Capt. Chaos. Nice. He’s very cool, lively, funny, edgy yet polite, and knowledgeable of Seattle area. My favorite part was the water ride on Lake Union. It reminded me of how lucky we are to live in the Emerald City, even if homes around the lake are ridiculously pricey. Case in point: The Sleepless in Seattle houseboat currently sells for $2.5 million (moorage and Tom Hanks not included.)
For those who are visiting Seattle, riding the ducks in the summer time is a great way to experience the city. And when you’re done with the tour and you crave for something sweet, cool, and artsy, stop by Top Pot Doughnuts and Coffee for an iced coffee and fresh glazed donuts. Hmmm.
