sleepwalking before Christmas

Finally I’m done packing all my things. I’m all set to fly home to the Philippines tomorrow. I should arrive there just in time for Noche Buena. I usually don’t sleep the night before my flight so I can sleep soundly on the plane. That way the 14-hour flight will go by quickly — a poor man’s time travel.

I’m still wide awake and got nothing else to do so I grabbed my Turiya and recorded one of my favorite instrumentals: Sleepwalk. I just love the melody of this 1959 classic. It’s got that eerie blissful feel. Almost like a Christmas carol. So there. Here’s my own sleepy version.

A few more hours and I’ll be home. Blogging will be light in the next few days until I find an internet connection. In the meantime, allow me to drop the politically correct facade and greet everyone of you Merry Christmas in my native tongue. Maligayang Pasko po, and godspeed.
