Like overcoming the stress of the Comprehensive Exam, Case Studies, Research & Presentations, and of course the Dissertation. But with such good Professors like Dr. Lemuel Magracia, you will really learn in the processes. I definitely value his share in the Graduate School. Salamat po! While reading most of the compliments here just made me so proud of being a PLMayer, I never thought this blog ever existed. I am a Registerd Nurse here in the US, my career started when my family and I migrated to the US, we stayed in Bakersfield, ca for 6 years and a year ago transfered to the Bay Area (San Francisco/Bay Area), currently I am working at San Quentin State Prison (where you can find the condemned and lifer's are encarcerated) unlike the prison system sa Pinas, dito its like a hotel (Hotel California nga) they can check-in anytime they like but can never leave (except being dead). Anyways, I would like to meet with Dan Guiam and other PLMayers here in America, it would be wonderful to have an association here. Whenever my fellow nurses ask me where I graduated I always proudly say PLM. I think its all because of our training (sa hirap ba naman!!!), I finished nursing with hard work, hard study, hard dedication (lahat hard, para lang pumasa)its like going through the eye of a needle every semester/year until graduation. Nevertheless, looking back at it I owe it to Pamantasan. I remember when I was assigned to take care of Dean Mary Vita Jackson at St. Luke's, someone in that room predicted that I would go places, truly enough, I did. Hopefully someday we can all give something back to PLM, she gave what is due us, might as well give what is due Her. MAKE HER PROUD TOO. My only regret, I should have taken Spanish Class.(spanish 101 became an elective subject 1987) Mi Habla poquito espanyol, comprende, mucho mexicanos, latinos en Estados Unidos.( I don't even know if this is correct spanish diction).
